Capitali…What? is a graphic motion video and it shows the idea about what Capitalization of European programmes means. In this case, Malaga, as Urban Empathy project led partner, together with cities and regions from Spain, Italy, France, Greece, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina Germany.

Urban Empathy is a territorial cooperation focused on Urban Capitalization and selected within the 1st capitalization call of the Med Programme, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). The project gives continuity to the CAT-MED project that became the Platform on Sustainable Urban Models, and where 27 European cities and regions are involved. It aims to promote the classic Mediterranean city by buildings compactness in its structure, complexity in their functions and uses, and proximity to services and basic equipment. CAT-MED was the origin for the development of Green Apple pilots, which takes place in several European cities (www.catmed.eu). Currently, the Malaga Green Apple is within the process of public information after the initial urban project approval.
